Dear participant of the ISSPA2019,
It is a great honor and pleasure for us to warmly invite you to participate in the 16th International Symposium on Soil and Plant Analysis (ISSPA 2019), which will take place on June 17-20, 2019, in Wageningen, the Netherlands.
Improving nutrient management | Organic matter dynamics | Measuring P deficiency | Effect of biochar and various sources of organic manures | Fractioning of manure | Availability of micro nutrients | Introducing new soil life measurements ... these are just a few of the interesting topics of ISSPA2019.
During this 4-day symposium you will learn and discuss optimization of soil fertility, crop productivity & crop quality and prudent use of water and nutrients. That's why the official theme of ISSPA2019 is: 'Using tools to optimize plant production and quality: exploring the system approach'.
Optimal crop production, crop quality, and efficient use of water and nutrients are all related to soil fertility and plant nutrition. Soil fertility status and the need for supplemental plant nutrition can be determined using soil and crop testing and fine-tuned by water, fertilizer, and manure analysis. This symposium will focus on state-of-the-art agricultural analytical testing.
We welcome a broad group of experts:
- Scientists (e.g. soil science, plant nutrition, soil-crop relations)
- Researchers
- Professionals working in agricultural laboratories
- Agronomists
- Experts working in the instrumentation industry
- Specialists working in the fertilizer industry
- Extension services (advisors)
- Practitioners
- Students
ISSPA offers an excellent opportunity to learn, engage in active discussion, and strengthen the strong link between both academic and industrial applications in the agricultural sector. The scientific program will comprise a mixture of oral and poster presentations. The specific details of the sessions and topics will be finalized once all abstracts have been received and assessed. A mid-symposium field trip and workshops are included as well.
The program also includes a (optional) 3 day pre-symposium tour in the Netherlands which will include visits to places such as Amsterdam, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, coastal beaches and architectural highlights, both classic and contemporary.
Also on behalf of the local organizing committee we enthusiastically welcome you to the 16th ISSPA in Wageningen, the Netherlands. We look forward to meeting you there!
You don't want to miss out the latest developments and techniques for optimize plant production and quality, register now! and stay up to datewith the latest techniques.
